Kong Government funds, and this is enclosed together with some notes giving
explanations, or references to
correspondence, in support of certain
items. It has not been easy for the
Hong Kong Government Accounts Office to prepare the estimate as many accounts
have still not been received, others
are still awaiting examination and it is
proving very difficult to bring the wo
up to date. The estimate has been
vetted in this Department as far as
possible and amendments made where
necessary to bring it into accord with
the latest correspondence on the variou
items of expenditure.
